MAPA's Response to COVID-19

MAPA Spring CME Conference will now be held virtually

Due to the ongoing concern for our MAPA constituents, fellow patients, families, colleagues regarding the COVID-19 virus, as well as the Governor's declaration, the in-person event at Lahey Clinic will not be available. Instead, MAPA leadership has decided the conference will be held via WebEx on Saturday, March 28 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. 

Please read below, detailing all changes and questions you may have regarding the MAPA Spring CME Conference:

Will I receive CE credit?

Yes, anyone who registers, virtually attends, and completes a post conference survey will receive 6.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits.

How can I attend?

All paid registrants will receive an email with a link to attend the virtual conference and additional information on how to receive your continuing education certificate.

Can I still register to attend?

Yes, you can register for the conference until 11:59 PM on Friday, March 27th. However, we strongly encourage you to register before Thursday, March 26th.   You can REGISTER HERE.

Can I still ask the speakers questions?

Yes, WebEx provides the audience the ability to ask questions.  Additionally, on Thursday, March 26th a survey will be sent out to collect questions you may have regarding each topic.  These questions will be shared with each speaker so they can incorporate them into their presentations.

Will the Ultrasound Workshop still be available?

No, this workshop is postponed until the Fall Conference taking place on Saturday, October 17th.  If you have registered for the workshop, you will either receive a full refund or you can transfer your registration and payment to the October Conference to guarantee your spot. 

Will the MAT Waiver Training still take place?

No, this training has been cancelled.  Everyone who signed up and paid for this training will receive a full refund.  The training organizers will be in touch with other opportunities. 

Will the MAPA Annual Meeting take place at Lahey Medical Center?

No, this has been postponed until the Fall CME Conference.

Can I still cancel my participation? 

Yes, the normal event cancellation policy still applies.  In the event of a cancellation, notice must be received, via email, two (2) weeks before the event (March 13th) to receive a full refund minus a $50.00 administrative fee. Cancellations made after March 13th will not be eligible for a refund.

During this challenging time, we are excited that we are still able to offer our members CME credits and provide education.  We look forward to seeing you in person at our Fall CME Conference on October 17th at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Worcester, MA.
